Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics team at Mercy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients, including prenatal, labor, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in obstetric care.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One or more of the following certifications: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
