Essential Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in coordinating or supporting live events and productions, or in installing and troubleshooting integrated audio-visual systems.
  • Proven experience in delivering VIP-level service for meetings, training sessions, and events; adept at interacting professionally with senior officials and other high-profile individuals.
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to AV system flow diagrams and support documentation.
  • Experience in both onsite and remote system commissioning, staging, programming, testing, and integration.
  • General knowledge of major AV vendor hardware and their functionalities.
  • Familiarity with Crestron, AMX, Medialon control systems; Biamp, Ashly, Symmetrix, Crestron, and/or QSC audio DSPs (certifications are advantageous).
  • CTS or other industry-recognized certifications are a plus.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Dependable, responsible, and eager to learn and grow.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • May involve occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
  • Requires significant sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Some travel may be necessary, including multi-night stays within and occasionally outside the local area.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be willing to undergo background checks and drug testing as mandated by current or future contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with executives and other professionals to gather requirements and details for meetings and live events.
  • Set up and operate equipment such as microphones, speakers, video screens, projectors, and recording devices for various events including meetings, conventions, and presentations.
  • Provide support for both onsite and offsite special events, accommodating small and large gatherings in various venues.
  • Serve as the technical lead and support for events across all customer venues.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on all customer audio-visual systems.
  • Assist in the installation of both temporary and permanent exhibits.
  • Create, maintain, and organize technical system documentation.
  • Support system upgrades and associated testing across the audio-visual landscape.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and replacements with vendors as necessary.
  • Digitize and compress audio and video data.
  • Ensure the secure storage and integrity of data.
  • Maintain an inventory of equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance and training for AV systems to end users.
