About the Role

Mindoula Health Inc is a leading provider of population health management services, specializing in behavioral health and substance use disorders. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our Substance Use Disorders Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our Operations team to build and manage a high-performing team of clinical professionals, ensuring excellent service delivery and industry-leading outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to drive quality and efficiency across multiple states, in partnership with our Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement teams.
  • Collaborate with our Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic relationships with health plan partners.
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical pathways, group therapy, and behavior-focused practice protocols, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage operational budgets and report on key performance indicators, ensuring delivery within or below approved limits.
  • Deploy standardized clinical models to achieve quality clinical outcomes that align with financial outcomes, across a multi-state clinical operation.
  • Ensure strict compliance to all local, state, federal laws, and health plan rules and regulations.
  • Model Mindoula Health Inc values and promote responsible and ethical stewardship of company resources.
Requirements
  • A clinical master's degree with 5+ years of leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) holding one of the following licenses: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Professional Counselor (CPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), or equivalent.
  • 2+ years' experience in network development and relationship management type roles, with a proven track record of building strategic relationships.
  • History of success growing a market/region, with established relationships with community resources, OB/GYN offices, MAT programs, and/or local or state agencies.
  • Understanding of health plan coverage, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial plans.
  • Background working in behavioral health and maternal/substance abuse populations.
  • Strong organizational skills, quick responsiveness, and ability to act with a sense of urgency.
  • Proven ability to design, integrate, and optimize business and clinical processes.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, comfort with cloud-based systems, and teleconferencing.
  • Experience using electronic medical records and teleconferencing solutions.
  • Strong understanding/interest in public health and population health.
  • Previous experience working from home and organizing daily and weekly tasks.
