Job Summary

The State of Maryland is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Director to provide clinical oversight for the Department's five psychiatric hospitals and two Regional Institutes for Children and Adolescents. This is a management service position that requires a strong background in clinical leadership and experience in managing vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical oversight for the Department's psychiatric hospitals and Regional Institutes
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Lead a team of clinical staff and provide guidance and support
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and make data-driven decisions
Requirements
  • Current Maryland medical license
  • Board certification in Forensic Psychiatry by the American Medical Association Specialty Board or other Board approved by the Maryland Board of Physicians
  • 6 years of clinical oversight experience in a Psychiatric or Behavioral Health setting, including 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience
