Position SummaryWe are looking for a Child Behavioral Specialist to contribute to our mission at No Missing Pieces. In this position, you will engage in a dynamic and often challenging educational setting to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. You will conduct both group and individual therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a therapeutic rapport with clients to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Encourage safe and socially acceptable alternative behaviors to expand communication, social skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques for both group and individual sessions.
  • Keep thorough and precise records of client information and treatment strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with families and treatment teams to ensure effective therapy delivery without disrupting the environment.
  • Train new team members on treatment protocols to ensure consistency in care.
  • Execute tasks assigned by the case supervisor within the scope of the Behavioral Therapist role.
  • Conduct assessments during therapy to collect data and clinical insights for the case supervisor regarding client progress.
  • Enhance the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate behaviors by providing access to reinforcers based on the intervention plan.
  • Comply with all facility and licensing regulations.
  • Accurately gather behavioral data using various recording methods.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in behavioral health therapy is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance necessary, along with reliable transportation.
  • Access to email and phone for timely communication.
  • Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
  • Completion of online training modules and certifications is expected.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain various postures for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse environments including homes, schools, and community settings.
  • Willingness to travel within a designated radius for client treatment.
