Behavioral Health Specialist

360 Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in implementing behavioral health treatments for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide 1:1 care directly with Clients during scheduled sessions under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Key Responsibilities
- Implement established behavioral treatment plans based on the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
- Ensure that 100% of the scheduled direct services are provided without any scheduling interruptions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collect data related to Client's progress during treatment sessions.
- Incorporate activities and games that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for the client in alignment with the treatment plan.
- Promote Client engagement to build their strengths in a natural and enjoyable manner.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months or of relevant experience working with individuals; may include internships, volunteer work, or employment in related fields such as education or childcare.
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
- Reliable Transportation
- Successfully complete Live Scan background check, employment verification and TB screening
- Be able to lift up to 30lbs. While assisting consumers
- Must be able to run, bend, sit, stand for long periods at a time
