Aerotek is seeking a skilled Production Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Compound, weigh, mix, and process materials according to established procedures and formulations.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of raw materials, ensuring they meet specifications and are free from contamination.
- Inspect scales and equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and proper function.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to optimize production flow, minimize downtime, and achieve production goals.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in compounding, mixing, and processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a compounding or mixing role.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and follow instructions.
