Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated team members who are passionate about enhancing the lives of individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Our DBIS professionals play a crucial role in ensuring that each person has the opportunity to lead a safe, fulfilling, and meaningful life both at home and within the community. As collaborative team players, we create environments that encourage innovative opportunities tailored to the evolving needs and aspirations of those we support.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which may involve the use of specialized equipment and adherence to dining protocols.
  • Support household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and maintaining a comfortable living environment.
  • Provide transportation for residents to appointments and community activities.
  • Document daily shift notes, track data, and manage individual records as assigned.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of personalized support objectives.
  • Administer medications upon certification.
  • Stay updated on agency-required certifications and training.
  • Perform additional program-related tasks as directed by the Program Director or Site Manager.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license for at least six months with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Physical capability to fulfill the responsibilities of this role while ensuring resident safety.
  • Basic proficiency in computer and office tasks.
  • Successful completion of a background check (CORI).

  • Hourly wage of $17.00, with an additional $1.00 for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification.

  • Alternative Schedule 2: Tuesday-Saturday: 3 PM - 11 PM
