Position Overview
Join SAIC as a Program Manager overseeing a significant Enterprise IT initiative within the NAVAIR ecosystem. This role is pivotal in driving the success of a newly awarded program.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and is based in a flexible location. Relocation assistance is available for the ideal candidate. An active Secret clearance is a prerequisite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and sustain strategic, interdisciplinary IT programs aligned with customer RDT&E objectives.
- Utilize advanced principles, theories, and concepts to foster the development of innovative practices.
- Tackle complex challenges and deliver inventive solutions, including multi-level security cloud implementations with AI/ML integration.
- Operate with considerable autonomy in decision-making and provide mentorship to team members in both technical and operational skills.
- Oversee and direct intricate activities in compliance with contract stipulations, ensuring excellence in technical, scheduling, cost, and financial outcomes.
- Manage program personnel, including subcontractors and suppliers, fostering significant cross-functional collaboration.
- Collaborate effectively with executive leadership and business development teams to enhance growth and investment strategies.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Technical or Business discipline.
- Over 10 years of pertinent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years managing an Enterprise IT Firm-Fixed-Price program.
- Proven experience in managing large and complex contracts, including subcontractor oversight.
- Experience leading software development teams.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps.
- Capability to manage Agile development processes to meet government requirements.
- Active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracts.
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and environments.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
