About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at ConcordRents. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all property systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand and that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that all expenses are properly accounted for.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; applied trades training or certification in a related field (e.g. HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with a proven track record of leadership and supervision.
  • Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in maintenance software and equipment.
