Job Title: Maintenance Manager II

ConcordRENTS is a distinguished leader in providing a quality and customer-centric property management experience with a focus on affordable and market rate multifamily communities throughout Florida. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager II to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager II will be responsible for ensuring the condition of amenities and apartment homes meets ConcordRENTS high standards. This includes fully preparing apartment homes for new residents as well as maintaining the condition of occupied apartments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, landscape quality control, and irrigation repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the condition of amenities and apartment homes meets ConcordRENTS high standards.
  • Prepare apartment homes for new residents and maintain the condition of occupied apartments.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, landscape quality control, and irrigation repairs.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of parts, supplies, and materials.
  • Ensure that maintenance related documentation is current and accurate.
  • Participate in and monitor maintenance activities, including response to service requests, painting or general maintenance of grounds, pool, amenities, club house and apartment homes.
  • Respond to reports of unusual or escalated repair or maintenance issues.
  • Perform any range of repairs involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems or units.
  • Arrange for the movement and installation of equipment and furnishings within offices and common or amenity areas.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Applied trades training on a particular or specialized occupation, requiring knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and plumbing.
  • Certified Pool Operator and Environmental Protection Agency certifications may be required in order to service pools and handle HVAC chemicals.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity reasons.
  • Over 5 years required to be fully familiar with required techniques, equipment, systems, documentation, monitoring the work of others, and work routines.
