Job Overview:

Digital Prospectors is in search of a Clinical Science Liaison specializing in Oncology. This role involves providing scientific and technical expertise while educating healthcare professionals on the latest research findings that highlight the clinical benefits of our products. The Clinical Science Liaison will actively engage with physicians to discuss real-world cases and address inquiries related to diagnostic reports. This position will also enhance understanding of innovative diagnostic technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver scientific and technical guidance to foster professional relationships with key community physicians and opinion leaders, promoting the adoption of advanced diagnostic technologies.
  • Serve as a resource for physicians, assisting in the evaluation and interpretation of patient test reports.
  • Facilitate educational initiatives by presenting scientific information to medical providers and their teams.
  • Identify collaboration opportunities with opinion leaders for presentations at scientific forums and specialty society meetings.
  • Summarize and disseminate information on emerging research and publications relevant to molecular testing.
  • Gather medical and scientific insights, including provider and investigator lists for specific tumor types.
  • Collect feedback on current and future products to share with internal commercial and research teams.
  • Monitor competitive research activities and communicate insights on challenges and opportunities for clinical trials.
  • Prepare and present clinical inquiries related to institutional guidelines or treatment pathways.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Genetic Counselor, NP/PA, Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent academic position).
  • Clinical experience or relevant background in Oncology is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Experience collaborating with clinicians to achieve consensus on new products or services.
  • Proven track record of independent presentations at major academic institutions or within community settings leading to product adoption.
  • Prior experience in launching a novel clinical product is highly desirable.
  • Ability to leverage advanced knowledge of biotechnology, diagnostics, and the pharmaceutical industry to support medical and scientific goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently in a remote setting while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capability to work across various teams and levels within the organization.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to changes in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, time management, and personal initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and task completion through others.
  • Ability to address clinical inquiries in diverse settings, from individual discussions to larger group presentations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time for meetings with key opinion leaders, educational talks, and scientific conferences.
  • Proficient in using a computer and keyboard in a home office environment.
