We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Magna International. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all plant standards, policies, and procedures.
- Recognize and rectify unsafe working conditions and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- Perform all duties assigned relative to the assembly of seats and seat components.
- Complete job tasks within the allotted cycle time and perform inspections and repairs as required.
- Participate in special projects to support the organization's business objectives.
- Minimum completion of grade 12, with post-secondary education preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience, with at least 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Able to perform all assembly operations at line speed while upholding quality standards.
- Good organizational skills, ability to work independently and on a team.
- Willing to work shifts and overtime as required.
- Ability to read and write English.
