Job Title: Production Materials Group Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Materials Group Lead to join our Supply Chain Solutions division in Spring Hill, TN.

Job Summary:

The Production Materials Group Lead is responsible for leading a team of production materials specialists in a manufacturing operation. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production materials in a customer manufacturing facility for specific work production cells.
  • Analyze demand of materials, daily goals, and other miscellaneous assignments to ensure production demand is met.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer floor leaders to ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly deliverables related to safety, quality, cost, people, and downtime are met.
  • Monitor hourly, daily, weekly, and yearly targets of day-to-day manufacturing and communicate to internal and customer teams.
  • Assign tasks to personnel related to training, work, etc., and interface with customer applications such as EPS, PPS, and WMS.
  • Develop system and process training for employees in the work group(s) and perform administrative functions to include tracking of time, attendance, and performance feedback.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in manufacturing or industry-related field; two or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Three or more years of problem-solving skills experience, use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems.
  • Intermediate computer skills required; exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and material handling equipment may be required based on position.
