Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ross Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the overall success of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and effective way.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Merchandise Presentation: Ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and maintained, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and rotating stock.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, including unpacking, stocking, and counting inventory.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales floor associates and store leadership to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and store leadership.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, including working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the store.
