Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Marshalls Store 0293. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with all customers and embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, and maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
  • Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards, and initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
  • Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, and adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, and capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors, and retail customer experience preferred.
