Donation Attendant

At Sedona Store (Sedona, Arizona), we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading an excellent customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring that all donations are received and processed in a timely and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Accept and process donations from customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all items are properly labeled and placed in the production room or sales floor.
- Ensure that a receipt is offered to each donor, regardless of the size of the donation, and provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their donations.
- Identify and address any potential hazardous products being donated and provide customers with information on proper disposal methods.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading furniture or other items to and from vehicles, and maintain a safe and organized production room and sales floor.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on all company-owned equipment and ensure that all safety rules are followed and safety equipment is used properly.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
- Competitive hourly rate of $17.40.
