Senior Cancer Research Investigator

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as a Senior Cancer Research Investigator. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research in cancer cell signaling, lipid and other cancer-related metabolism, integrative genomics, tumor immunology, or chemical biology.
Responsibilities:- Conduct cutting-edge research in cancer biology and related fields
- Develop and lead a research program with a focus on cancer cell signaling and metabolism
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of cancer biology
- Teach and mentor students and postdoctoral fellows
- Secure extramural funding to support research activities
- Terminal degree in basic, translational, or clinical sciences
- Extensive cancer relevant research experience
- Nationally-recognized scholarly/research portfolio with a strong track-record of continuous NCI funding
- Proven trainee and faculty mentorship skills
- Track record working in multi-disciplinary fields
- Experience working in a matrix environment within academic medicine
- Proven success in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Established track-record of leading inter- and multi-disciplinary teams as principal investigator of multi-investigator projects such as P01s and SPOREs
