We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to lead our team in the design and development of cutting-edge avionics products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, managing projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team, comprised of electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and certification engineers.
- Lead project level design reviews through development, including planning, architecture, implementation, verification, and certification.
- Propose and manage the design of new products, improvements, and technology updates to ensure that our developments align with market needs and product roadmaps.
- Lead the technical team in the pursuit of new business.
- Technical point of contact with customers, current and future.
- Partner with program management to plan and execute schedules and budgets.
- Monitor and communicate project status to management and customers.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in electronics product development.
- 2 years of engineering leadership experience.
- Experience in planning and executing engineering development projects, including staffing, schedule, budget, and risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or another related technical discipline from an accredited university.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- 5 years of engineering leadership experience.
- Experience managing projects with formal project management tools (ie MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience in the design of avionics or other safety-critical systems.
- Experience in a safety-critical industry (ie Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device).
- Experience with ARP-4754, DO-160, DO-254, or DO-178.
