Mechanical Service Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team-driven individual with strong financial acumen and proven capabilities to develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships that cultivate mechanical service opportunities for Grunau.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume a leadership role in identifying and building significant long-term relationships with customers, including actively seeking new relationships and service opportunities.
  • Produce flawless, professionally detailed estimates, calculations, and proposals for prospective clients.
  • Responsible for efficiently managing projects sold.
  • Cross-sell a variety of mechanical services offered by Grunau and APi family of companies.
  • Work with the Contract department to secure service contracts.
  • Maintain a high level of service and quality upon which our business has been built.
Qualifications/Education/Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College or university degree (preferred, not required).
  • Completion of trade-affiliated apprenticeship (preferred, not required).
  • 2+ years of project management, sales, sales leadership, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc.
  • Ability to think outside the box for customers and partners.
  • Strong ability to cold call and/or nurture warm customer opportunities, leads, and engagements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Unwavering customer service skills to clearly and concisely support and communicate with customers.
  • Mechanical and math aptitude.
  • Exceptional computer and Apple iOS skills.
  • Professional and organized.
  • MS Office Suite technology.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Industrial, commercial, and residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights.
  • Ability to be on the phone and computer consistently throughout the day.
