Role Overview:
We are in search of a talented Account Executive specializing in Strategic Partnerships to join our dynamic Business Development team. This role is pivotal in formulating and executing strategies aimed at establishing and nurturing business collaborations that resonate with our strategic objectives. The Account Executive will spearhead initiatives to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships that align with our corporate vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements and delivering customized solutions to drive mutual growth.
- New Business Development: Proactively seek and engage new business prospects through networking, outreach, and relationship-building efforts.
- Sales Funnel Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, generate leads, and establish industry connections.
- Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate sales terms and agreements, successfully closing deals.
- Strategic Initiative Implementation: Demonstrate a hands-on approach to strategy and sales, effectively managing and expanding sales pipelines.
- Market Analysis: Gather and analyze market data, maintaining relationships with prospects by providing essential support and insights.
- Performance Metrics: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals and engage in discussions regarding potential options and economic models with decision-makers.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and expanding partnerships within the E-commerce or Subscription sectors.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and selling E-commerce/SaaS solutions to medium and large enterprises, typically involving lengthy sales cycles.
- Proven ability to close multi-year agreements with senior retail executives.
- Experience in E-commerce is preferred; familiarity with the Pet/Veterinary industry is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Experience in scaling businesses and navigating high-growth scenarios.
