Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the Construction Representative 4 is responsible for conducting inspections of construction projects ranging from basic to high complexity. This role involves assessing the integrity of structures, documenting any signs of deterioration, and identifying necessary sampling procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and document the structural condition of various construction projects.
- Identify and report discrepancies between the design specifications and the actual execution of construction work.
- Provide detailed reports to project leadership upon discovering any deficiencies or issues during inspections.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project objectives.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a High School diploma or a Vocational Technical degree, or an equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. This position may require domestic and/or international travel, depending on specific responsibilities and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Intermediate knowledge of arithmetic and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and learn new applications.
- Advanced understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment.
- Capability to read, interpret, and explain construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment:
This position requires the successful candidate to work primarily in field locations, ensuring direct oversight of construction activities.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is between $30.99 and $48.03 per hour, with additional discretionary bonuses that may apply.
