Williams International is seeking a skilled Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for performing first piece, tool proof, receiving and final inspection. Your duties will include:

  • Performing inspections for first article and production readiness
  • Manufacturing and/or testing parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
  • Maintaining accurate and reliable documentation
  • Performing inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
  • Visually inspecting parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
  • Light programming and/or creating program edits for CMM equipment
  • Ensuring the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell
  • Maintaining proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensuring that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained
  • Adhering to all safety standards and regulations

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 1-2 years' experience, and experience with CMM systems and familiarity with open DMIS language preferred. Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading is required. Physical lifting requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and being able to reach above the shoulder. U.S. Citizenship status is required, and the position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
