Aircraft Mechanic Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Vertex Aerospace LLC. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and certify aircraft at regular intervals to ensure compliance with OEM and FAA regulations.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform corrective actions to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
  • Document maintenance activities on relevant forms and maintain accurate records.
  • Remove and replace defective components, and perform maintenance on ground support equipment.
  • Comply with safety protocols, foreign object damage, and tool control program requirements.
  • Perform preflight and post-flight inspections, and maintain aircraft logbooks and historical data.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED).
  • Two years of experience in work directly related to aircraft maintenance.
