About the Role

We're seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to join our team in Tampa. As a key member of our contact center, you will be the first point of contact for Auto First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims. Your primary responsibilities will include creating thorough loss reports, verifying coverage, and setting up appropriate services to proactively move claims forward. You will also respond to status inquiries from various parties and deliver best-in-class customer service through setting expectations, communicating effectively, and providing advice to resolve claims efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment, taking back-to-back calls and navigating multiple systems while maintaining engaging interactions with members.
  • Create loss reports and verify coverage as necessary, initiating effective damage assessment methods for file handling.
  • Assist with questions regarding the claims process, setting expectations for next steps to ensure effective resolution and accurate documentation.
  • Apply strong time and call management skills to assist members with insurance needs.
  • Support workload surges and catastrophe operations during designated events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally.
  • Prioritize and multitask while navigating multiple business applications in a fast-paced team environment.
