Job Summary:

We are looking for a registered nurse with a passion for working in school settings. As a School-Based Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and responding to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Student Care: Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.
  • Health Records: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
  • Education: Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
  • Acmodations: Provide acmodations for students with disabilities as needed per school's requirements.
  • Transportation: Ride bus to and from school and/or field trips with students.

Requirements:

  • Valid RN License: Valid Registered Nurse license in Washington required.

  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
