Job Overview:

The director will lead and cultivate a team of dedicated volunteers and staff in the audio, video, and lighting departments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and oversee the audio, lighting, and video production teams.
  • Act as the Media Producer for all worship services, providing guidance and training to both staff and volunteers.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Audio Engineer to maintain superior quality in broadcast, monitor, and front-of-house sound.
  • Develop and manage video content, including announcements and promotional materials.
  • Enhance online worship experiences through improved streaming on platforms such as Wirecast, Facebook Live, and YouTube.
  • Coordinate with production teams and sound technicians for all services, ensuring seamless integration of sound, lighting, and video elements.
  • Oversee the recording and broadcasting of worship services and events as directed by church leadership.
  • Schedule and manage volunteers and staff for worship services and events.
  • Strategically plan for the audio, video, and lighting departments to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Adapt PowerPoint presentations for optimal video broadcast layouts.
  • Ensure appropriate video framing for messages and worship broadcasts as per leadership guidelines.
  • Participate in staff and planning meetings to align on objectives.
  • Prepare stage and equipment for weekly rehearsals and worship services.
  • Manage the upload of weekend video and audio content to the church's website.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in media, production, or graphic design; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in video capture, editing, and motion graphics.
  • Proven experience in leading teams of adult volunteers.
  • Experience in a church environment with a weekly attendance of 1,500 or more.
  • Familiarity with various computer-based broadcast mixing systems.
  • Expertise in live video production, IMAG, A/V technology, and graphic design.
