About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the Colville Tribes. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of mental health services to our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health assessments and provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address mental health disorders.
  • Provide crisis triage and follow-up counseling services as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid state driver's license and eligibility for the Tribe's vehicle insurance.
  • Current unrestricted licensure as a clinical mental health therapist.
  • Fist Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Completion of HIV/AIDS and blood-borne pathogens training within six months.
  • Verification of TB test or X-ray with negative results prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of local Tribal Culture, Traditions, and practices.
  • Experience working with diverse populations in rural America.
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in an indoor and outdoor environment.
  • Ability to move to work locations and lift light weight materials.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
