About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the Colville Tribes. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of mental health services to our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address mental health disorders.
- Provide crisis triage and follow-up counseling services as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid state driver's license and eligibility for the Tribe's vehicle insurance.
- Current unrestricted licensure as a clinical mental health therapist.
- Fist Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Completion of HIV/AIDS and blood-borne pathogens training within six months.
- Verification of TB test or X-ray with negative results prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of local Tribal Culture, Traditions, and practices.
- Experience working with diverse populations in rural America.
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
