Position Summary

  • Evaluate current operational procedures and propose enhancements that effectively identify, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications regarding significant program modifications as necessary.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with key stakeholders, including Legal, IT, Product Management, and Global Business Operations.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with risk management policies and best practices.
  • Analyze the potential effects of regulatory updates on the Global Sanctions Policy and associated business operations.
  • Facilitate communication with cross-functional teams regarding updates to the Global Sanctions program and procedures.
  • Assist in the execution of routine tasks and periodic projects related to the Global Sanctions Program, including continuous monitoring of screening processes and reporting any system issues to the management team.
  • Examine trade messages from Institutional Trade Processing systems to detect possible regulatory breaches and provide direction to both internal and external clients.
  • Conduct assessments of potential compliance alerts and submit necessary regulatory reports when required.
  • Evaluate the implications of business changes and regulatory developments on the program, under the guidance of senior management.
  • Review existing program documentation and make updates as necessary to align with current regulatory standards.
  • Offer guidance to business units regarding their screening responsibilities, under the supervision of senior management.
  • Participate in ongoing initiatives to support the objectives of the Compliance Department and the organization as a whole.
  • Track and document the completion of assigned tasks, as well as the escalation and resolution of compliance-related issues.
  • Undertake additional special projects or assignments as directed.
