The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center is seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as an Aquatic Safety Specialist. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of safety for all members and program participants by preventing and responding to emergencies within the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Pool Operations: Open and close the pool area, perform daily maintenance duties, and ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies with the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and provide quality customer service.
- Compliance and Enforcement: Comply with and enforce Center standards, policies, and procedures.
- Teamwork: Participate in 30-minute rotations, relieve fellow lifeguards, and perform lane changes for classes.
- Certifications: Current Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR certification.
- Training: Bloodborne Pathogens Training (class offered at the RBAC).
- Background: Strong background in aquatics.
- Attitude: Positive attitude and self-motivated.
- Compensation: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour DOE.
- Benefits Package: Paid sick and vacation time, medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, LTD insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and more.
