Job Summary:
Solano Irrigation District is seeking a skilled Shift Operator to join our M&I Operations team at the Water Treatment Plant. As a Shift Operator, you will be responsible for performing semi-skilled and skilled tasks related to the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct standard chemical and water quality tests
- Maintain and repair plant equipment
- Collect water samples for analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- California State Water Resources Control Board certification in Treatment at level T3, or higher
- California State Water Resources Control Board certification in Distribution at level D2 or higher
- Two (2) years of work experience performing the functions of a water treatment plant operator
Work Schedule:
The regular work hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) with rotating standby duty and weekend work. Standby duty and weekend work will be assigned on a rotational basis among team members to ensure fair distribution of responsibilities.
