Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with varied diagnoses to determine developmental and/or functional status using standardized measures or clinical observations.
  • Identify patient's strengths and deficits, establish goals, and develop an individualized treatment plan incorporating patient and family needs.
  • Administer therapeutic treatment to patients with developmental delay or functional deficits to provide optimal development, function, and independence.
  • Educate patients/parents/caregivers on treatment goals and therapy plan, instruct on therapeutic activities to follow at home, and document instruction.
  • Communicate patient's status and collaborate with physicians, third-party payors, and relevant healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Ohio License in Speech Pathology.
  • Certification in Speech Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
  • Previous pediatric experience desirable.
