Manager of Financial Reporting

NorthPoint Search Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Manager of Financial Reporting to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and analysis, with experience in managing teams and leading projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prepare financial reports for U.S. GAAP and Bermuda statutory reporting
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to management on a quarterly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Stay up-to-date with financial reporting and regulatory developments and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Manage and oversee the functionality of financial reporting systems and applications
  • Lead the development and implementation of reporting processes and control procedures
  • Manage and develop a team of financial analysts and coordinators
  • Identify and implement process improvements and lead cross-functional teams to achieve goals
  • Perform advanced problem-solving and complex analysis
  • Organize and manage projects to completion
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in the insurance industry or a large public accounting firm
  • Managerial experience required
  • Experience with Workday is a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
