Sourcing Manager

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Category Strategy in alignment with the Target Operating Model and develop for the corporate center-led framework.
  • Provide insights on potential innovations and local market trends.
  • Assess and categorize sourcing risks, and formulate strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Identify, assess, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Integrate innovations from the external marketplace into sourcing strategies.
  • Proactively address issues through Business Review Meetings and leverage Key Performance Indicators.
  • Collaborate effectively with local Business Partners to ensure alignment of objectives.
  • Enhance purchasing channels and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Utilize sourcing methodologies such as e-auctions, reverse auctions, and parallel negotiations.
  • Lead regional sourcing initiatives as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in category management.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical sector is advantageous.
  • Expertise in Marketing or Meetings & Events is preferred.
  • Proven track record in Demand Management, Negotiation, and Project Management.
  • Experience in Contract Management and the RFP process.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a history of collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to influence and achieve consensus among teams.

Educational Background:

A Master's Degree from an accredited institution in relevant fields such as Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Studies, or Business Administration, or a Bachelor's Degree with applicable work experience.
