About the Role

Patient First is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Falls Church, VA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality x-rays using correct positioning and radiation exposure.
  • Implement safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff, and self.
  • Create and document x-ray CD copies according to Patient First guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain x-ray and processing equipment.
  • Use the automated medical records system and other software as needed.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, adhering to OSHA guidelines.
  • Restock supplies and perform other maintenance tasks as directed.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff members.
  • Attend training classes and staff meetings as scheduled.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Keyboarding experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • One year of clerical experience preferred.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensed to practice as a Radiologic Technologist or Limited Radiologic Technologist by the Virginia Board of Health Professions.
