SSM Health is seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic and fulfilling work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in performing a variety of nursing care services for patients, including bathing, ambulating, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Collect and document data for the admission assessment and reassessment, and provide appropriate data to the RN and/or LPN for analysis and validation of patient's response to care or treatment.
- Contribute to safety and quality care by relaying information via charting and communicating to team members.
- Inform licensed nurse of any changes in patient condition/needs, of patient complaints, and of patient/significant other educational needs.
- Perform mechanical and manual operation of equipment as recommended in user's manual, with ability to recognize common mechanical problems and initiate appropriate corrective action.
- Passing grade on state of work location required exam.
- No experience required.
This is a full-time night shift position working 36 hours per week and includes an every third weekend rotation and a holiday rotation.
