Inmate Grievance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inmate Grievance Officer to join our team at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and resolving inmate grievances in a fair and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate and resolve inmate grievances in accordance with established policies and procedures.
* Conduct thorough investigations, gathering and analyzing evidence, and interviewing witnesses.
* Prepare and present findings and recommendations to management.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective grievance resolution.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all grievances and investigations.
Requirements:
* A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Five years of full-time experience in a criminal justice or administrative support role is preferred.
* Investigative experience and supervisory experience are highly desirable.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Salary Information:
The salary for this position is $3,696.08 per year.
