Are you a civil engineering student looking to gain hands-on experience in structural engineering? VAA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team for the summer of 2025.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of construction documentation, including drawings and specifications, under the supervision of experienced engineers.
- Perform basic calculations using engineering software to support design and analysis.
- Participate in company and department meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by project managers and senior engineers.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution with a focus on structural engineering.
- Completion of fundamentals of steel design and/or fundamentals of concrete design courses is preferred.
