Job Summary

This position will be part of the MEDICAL BUSINESS UNIT. Medical's vision is to be the partner of choice for the design and manufacturing of medical devices. As an Intern in the Medical Business Unit, you will:

  • Support product and process development engineering activities of medical device products.
  • Contribute to the completion of projects as assigned, including process development and/or characterization or other engineering projects directly contributing to the business needs with a focus on problem-solving, cost reduction, and product deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in testing of product designs, fixture design, medical device building and processing medical devices through process equipment.
  • Learn medical device technologies, tour manufacturing lines, and interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop reports of test data with summaries of conclusions based on the data.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, with perhaps a concentration in medical device product and process design, from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.
  • Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred.
