Job Overview:

The Receptionist at our Pain Management Center plays a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, caregivers, and visitors. This position is essential for maintaining an organized and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitates effective communication among patients, healthcare providers, and visitors to ensure a smooth flow of information.
  2. Performs various clerical and administrative tasks to support the delivery of patient care.
  3. Coordinates daily patient flow activities to enhance operational efficiency.
  4. Maintains inventory levels by stocking the unit with necessary office and medical supplies and preparing requisitions as needed.
  5. Handles incoming calls professionally, directing them appropriately or taking messages when necessary.
  6. Processes faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff members.

Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associate's degree.

Skills:

This role requires strong critical thinking abilities, decisive judgment, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must be capable of functioning effectively in a high-pressure environment and responding appropriately to various situations.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, typically involving 7-10 hour shifts on weekdays.
