Job Summary

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the public areas of the hotel. This includes cleaning and maintaining the floors, carpets, and furniture in the public areas, as well as handling requests for luggage assistance and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with hotel standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Clean and maintain the floors, carpets, and furniture in the public areas.
  • Handle requests for luggage assistance in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Perform other tasks and jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow associates, and self.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record).
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
