- Assess and understand the unique needs of high-net-worth clients to provide customized solutions.
- Allocate time effectively between existing client management and delivering exceptional service, ensuring all banking and financial needs are met holistically.
- Facilitate the opening, closing, and servicing of client deposit accounts, while managing requests for various banking products and services.
- Handle client transactions and inquiries with confidentiality and accuracy, adhering to established policies and regulatory standards.
- Deliver superior service to Private Banking clients, acting as a trusted advisor to simplify their financial lives and help them achieve their objectives.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of client relationships and available resources to identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Address and resolve client issues promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee and manage existing credit relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain enduring relationships with a select group of high-net-worth individuals, typically managing 75 to 125 accounts.
- Engage in prospecting and client acquisition activities, leveraging internal and external networks for referrals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including lenders and wealth managers, to enhance client service delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to collective sales strategies.
- Facilitate referrals to specialized departments as needed, ensuring comprehensive client support.
- Conduct thorough follow-ups on client inquiries, coordinating with various teams to provide timely resolutions.
- Work collaboratively with trust and investment professionals to optimize client service outcomes.
- Engage with external professionals, such as attorneys and accountants, to foster relationships that benefit client acquisition.
- Host events and meetings aimed at strengthening client relationships and generating new business opportunities.
- Represent the bank at community events to enhance visibility and foster connections.
- Create a detailed Business Plan outlining annual and quarterly goals for client acquisition, lending, and wealth management, with actionable strategies for success.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and activities in Salesforce, ensuring up-to-date reporting and tracking.
- Travel as necessary to meet with clients, utilizing technology to stay connected and responsive to their needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of five years of experience in retail banking is preferred, with additional experience in sales, marketing, and consumer lending being advantageous.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required; further training will be provided by the institution.
- Strong relationship management, client service, and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to ethical practices.
- Proven sales experience and familiarity with public accounting and legal firms are beneficial.
- Comprehensive knowledge of consumer banking, credit, and business banking services is preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and CRM systems, with strong data entry capabilities.
- Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and organizational skills are necessary.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
