Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Star Dental Partners in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough screenings of patients during check-ups, reviewing their medical history and identifying potential oral health issues.
- Prophylactic Treatment: Administer scaling and polishing treatments to patients, documenting areas of existing restorations and using X-ray technology as needed.
- Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and work with them to develop personalized oral hygiene plans.
- Screenings and Assessments: Conduct regular screenings to identify potential oral health issues and provide recommendations for treatment.
- Licensure and Certification: Active Texas Hygienist license and current BLS/CPR certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RDH clinical experience required, with experience in perio treatment preferred.
- Training and Development: Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.
