Patient Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative to join our team at Carle Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and ensuring seamless communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely communication, resolving issues and concerns as needed.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Process patient payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily receivable activity to ensure accurate financial records.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
