Job Summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at our community site at Overlake. As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide evaluation and medical management of adult oncology patients, coordinating complex care and managing side effects of systemic anti-cancer therapy and radiation therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations
  • Evaluate and manage on-treatment and post-treatment side effects, as well as long-term surveillance and survivorship issues
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and services to ensure safe, effective, and timely treatment and continuity of patient care
  • Participate in cancer clinical research and provide patient, caregiver, and peer education
  • Communicate effectively with the team and participate in patient rounds, conferences, and committees
Qualifications
  • 1 year of ARNP or PA-C experience in Medical Oncology preferred
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required
  • Washington state and DEA licensure required
  • ACLS required within 3 months of start date
