Job SummaryThe LPN will be responsible for providing safe and effective medical treatment, including administering medications as prescribed by the physician. Key Responsibilities- Provide recovery-focused services, including administering medications and implementing direct care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with members served, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Collect and analyze data to inform care planning and make recommendations for individualized treatment.
- Transcribe physician orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to medication management policies and procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning sessions to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document progress and outcomes, contributing to the development of individualized recovery plans.
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program and current LPN licensure in the state of operation.
- Current CPR/BLS certification and ability to maintain certification throughout employment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs and/or in a similar program setting.
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on psychiatric care and medication management.
- Knowledge of psychiatric illness and its treatment, as well as psychotropic medication.
