Role Overview

The Cybersecurity Analyst at BlueOval SK will be an integral part of our team, dedicated to safeguarding critical information assets against cyber threats and ensuring the integrity of sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect information system assets by identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Define access controls and resource management to enhance system security.
  • Monitor for irregularities and report any security breaches.
  • Implement security enhancements by assessing current practices and anticipating future needs.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify security violations and inefficiencies.
  • Upgrade security systems by applying and maintaining robust security measures.
  • Keep stakeholders informed through detailed performance reports and system status updates.
  • Ensure quality service by adhering to organizational standards.
  • Stay updated on technical advancements by participating in workshops and reviewing relevant literature.
  • Contribute to team objectives by achieving related goals.
  • Manage and operate security systems effectively.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for security systems.
  • Test and evaluate new security technologies.
  • Install and maintain security infrastructure.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
  • Understand networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and network layers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both Windows and Linux command line interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in incident management and response.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in penetration testing methodologies.
  • Possession of advanced certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, CISSP, or CASP.
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and system administration.
  • Experience analyzing extensive logs and network data to support incident investigations.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Proficiency with security solutions including Anti-Virus, HIPS, and network forensics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise SIEM platforms.
  • Experience in developing and deploying security signatures.
  • Knowledge of mobile operating systems and basic Unix commands.
  • Experience in IT security and network operations.
  • Experience managing endpoint security solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a cybersecurity-related field.
  • A Master's degree in cybersecurity or a related area is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or ISO 27001.
  • Current knowledge of cybersecurity trends and threat landscapes.
