About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at EXP. As a key member of our Electrical team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring Designer level staff, ensuring the quality of electrical designs and specifications, and participating in the development of electrical work plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor Designer level staff in technical and non-technical skills
  • QC own work and work of Designer level staff
  • Participate in determining content of drawings and specs
  • Edit EXP master specifications as required
  • Travel to project sites to review progress and document findings
  • Solve problems within time and budget
  • Assist in developing and monitoring Electrical work plans
  • General knowledge of NEC and other applicable codes and standards
  • Assist in writing studies and reports for Electrical systems
  • Contribute to revisions of company design standards and master specifications
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years' experience in related design of Science & Technology, Correctional and Critical, Life Sciences, Research and Development, Pharmaceutical and other Facilities systems and building projects
  • Engineering Degree (BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree)
  • Revit MEP proficient
  • PE License is preferred
  • Ability to travel locally
