Job Description

Job Summary: Stride is seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our software products and digital courseware projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Lead the design of new and existing software products and digital courseware projects, ensuring they meet customer technical and functional specifications.
  • Design Research: Participate in pre-build and ongoing UX and product research to inform design decisions.
  • Design Development: Develop and maintain design systems, creating and utilizing design system components to ensure consistency across products.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, product, and engineering teams to ensure design solutions meet business requirements.
  • Documentation: Create design and research documentation to support design decisions and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on front-end design for web applications and software products.
  • Skills: Experience with Figma or related design software, as well as front-end design for React and Angular built front-end frameworks.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Research Experience: Experience conducting user research interviews, user testing, and user flow optimization.
  • Agile Experience: Familiarity with Jira and Agile working practices.
